*A LONG, LONG TIME AGO!!!
Janet's big day
"Happy Birthday" - the Beatles/1968
Happy Birthday Janet Enos
the 'JANET ENOS' Birthday song:
It is the opening track on the third side of the LP (or the second disc in CD versions of the record).
The song is an example of the Beatles' return to more traditional rock and roll form, although their music had increased in complexity, and it had developed more of its own characteristic style by this point.
McCartney and Ringo Starr performed it for Starr's 70th birthday at Radio City Music Hall on 7 July 2010...
my Birthday message to you, Ms. Janet
I've known you for 40 +/- years now.
and even though we haven't seen each other
since the spring of 1985,
(I still remember your 80's feathered puffy hair)
I have thought of you often.
every once in a while a person comes along that
makes a huge impact in your life,
you are that person to me.
*even if it's just by thinking-of-you!
I realize we were just kids when we met;
and thanx to Denis Wilson introducing us,
we became fast friends.
we never dated,
we never had sex,
and to the best of my recollection;
we never-ever kissed.
*I do recall a letter you wrote me once expressing your
desire to 'french kiss' me though. LoL
but, I had always wondered what had
ever become of you.
and thanks to technology,
we've 'somewhat' reconnected.
both our lives have had severe 'ups & downs',
but we both have overcome.
which makes us very similar in a strange way.
you are a very caring person
that I'm sure a few of your friends have
never really appreciated.
no worries Janet.
don't ever change.
on this Day of your birth
*yes. your still older than me!!!
you need to celebrate 'everything' you've accomplished.
as a few of our 'loved ones' never got those 51yrs!!!
I will always cherish 'our' friendship...
I love you.
Happy 51st Birthday Janet... love ya, greg
Janet's Birthday cake
is this enough candles for you???
*lets light this fire!!!
